I'm excited to share the cool projects I've been working on as the Senior Motion Designer in Glovo's Global Design Team.

From innovation and performance campaigns to TikTok and outdoor campaigns, I've been a part of it all. My responsibilities vary, from making sure our global campaigns stay on-brand to crafting creative assets and advertising concepts for all our channels.

INNOVATION

The Global Design Team had a fun project on their hands: crafting a concept for a new campaign that would shine a spotlight on the top dishes from Glovo's global markets.

We called it "The Very Best," where these delicious champs got their moment on podiums. But that's not all – we also had to shoot some food product footage to build up our design library. Teaming up with external agencies, we had a branded yellow set built and went wild with dynamic food shots. The result? A colorful, mouthwatering world that not only looked cool but also nailed the message – Glovo is all about that incredible variety.

PERFORMANCE CAMPAIGNS

Performance ads are integral in our digital campaigns spanning across Meta and UAC. The Global design team is responsible for bringing the comms briefs to life.

We begin with a comprehensive research and benchmarking process and design the key visuals. Once the concept gains approval, the video production journey begins with a storyboard. It is important to keep these videos concise, ensuring that the most vital information is conveyed within the initial three seconds, while maintaining alignment with the brand's identity and fostering audience engagement. To streamline the process of localizing content for the 20+ Glovo markets, we've introduced video automation where feasible. Additionally, performance ads offer an excellent opportunity for us in the Global team to supervise projects and provide artistic direction to junior-mid designers, thereby fostering their proficiency in benchmarking, content creation, and presentation skills. 

TIKTOK CAMPAIGNS

Creating our in-house TikTok paid ads is always a blast – it's a project that gets everyone from across the Growth and Marketing department involved, almost like actors in a play!

We make sure to tap into the hottest TikTok trends and follow best practices to keep our audience engaged. TikTok can be a tricky channel, but the more we churn out, the more we learn.

OUTDOOR CAMPAIGNS

As the motion designer on the Global team, I’m responsible for breathing life into our digital outdoor ad campaigns.

It’s always fun to see your work out in the wild, capturing the attention of the public. We consistently strive to craft outdoor campaigns that not only captivate the eye but also convey a clear and compelling message.
